1- The Arab Republic of Egypt has received financing from the African Development Bank (AFDB) hereinafter called the Bank
toward the cost of the ABU RAWASH WWTP IV and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contract 1
for Design, Build and Operate and Maintain of ABU RAWASH WWTP (PHASE IV) Project.
2- The Construction Authority for Potable Water and Wastewater (CAPW) now invites sealed Bids (two envelopes) from eligible Bidders for Design, Build and Operate and maintain of ABU RAWASH WWTP (PHASE IV) Project.
3- Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), (OCBI) Method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October 2015 (“Procurement Framework”) using the 2-envelope procedure (separate Technical and Financial envelopes).
This invitation for bid (IFB) is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
4- Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from CAPW and inspect the bidding document during office hours 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Cairo local time at the address given below or via email: capwotec_1@yahoo.com
5- The bidding document in English language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below
and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 40,000 EGP The method of payment will be electronic payment.
The document will be sent by hand at the address below.
6- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 30th March 2026.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted.
Late Bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 30th March 2026 at 1:00 pm.
7- All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 50,000,000 EGP or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency.
